Capital Hill Residence
Moscow / Russia

PROJECT INFORMATION

Capital Hill Residence

Capital Hill Residence is owned by the Russian Oligarch Vladislav Doronin and was designed by Zaha Hadid who is the only woman to have won The Pritzker Architecture Prize, Nobel Prize of Architecture, in 2004. The project completed between 2009-2012 in the Barkhiva Forest outside of Moscow, rises up as a white building against the green background of the forest, its structure standing out reminding us of a sci-fi movie. The 3,200 square meter villa has been shown in many architectural exhibitions. As Zaha Hadid stated, it was designed with curved lines inspired by the topography of the pine forest in which it is located.
